Motorola announced today its newest Android-powered smartphone dubbed the “Motorola Charm.” The device will be made available this Summer in the U.S. exclusively through T-Mobile. The Motorola Charm features a 2.8-inch touch screen, a full portrait QWERTY keyboard, and a Backtrack navigation touchpad in the rear similar to the Motorola Backflip.
Additionally, the device will be powered by Android 2.1 [Eclair]. It’s currently unknown whether or not this device will be upgraded to Android 2.2 [Froyo]. The Motorola Charm also includes the enhance version of the Motoblur UI. The phone also features a 3 megapixel camera, a second microphone to cancel noise, push email, and Wi-Fi.
