. A number of Samsung Galaxy S users have already been fooled into an Android Froyo (version 2.2) update, only to be disappointed after a while. This has just annoyed the anxious customers who may even dub the official confirmation as a hoax now. Anyway, the fact of the matter is that Samsung has gone ahead and officially confirmed the Froyo update for the Galaxy S users in the UK and the rest of the world.
As far as UK is concerned, Samsung Galaxy S will be upgraded to Froyo in early November following which the Froyo update will make it to all operator variants around the globe by the end of November. This implies that All the Galaxy S users around the globe will get a taste of the Froyo medicine by November 2010.
Froyo though has been plagued with issues on a number of Android devices and we just hope the Galaxy S from Samsung doesn’t have to go through the same problems. Google though, in tandem with Samsung will have ensured that all ends are covered as Galaxy S is apparently the best Android handset on the planet.
