T-Mobile is certainly keen on expanding its bandwagon of HSPA+ capable smartphones and those smartphones also have another thing in common and that is the Android OS. The world knows that T-Mobile is ‘almost’ ready to retail the G2, which is also its first HSPA+ connectivity supporting device, and now T-Mobile has gone ahead and announced the HTC myTouch which is not to be confused with the ‘myTouch 3G’.
myTouch will be the second T-Mobile locked smartphone which will be HSPA+ (a.k.a 4G) capable and what is more is that it will also feature the Android 2.2 Froyo OS. myTouch is a far cry from the myTouch 3G in not just the connectivity bands it supports, but also the CPU it sports.
myTouch is powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon option which implies that it is a smartphone which can be ably compared with the best Android options in the market. Also the 3.2″ screen from the predecessor has been substituted by a 3.8-inch option.
myTouch also comes with a couple of cameras (front and back) where the front option is good for real time face chat while the rear can click some stunning pictures with a 5MP sensor.
