Android is now headed into the BlackBerry territory as Verizon Wireless just announced the Motorola Droid PRO which is going to be the first Android smartphone for the business types. It is ironical that RIM is planning to expand beyond its business centric identity and the trendy PlayBook is just an example of that expansion drive.
What is unfortunate is that VZW hasn’t let out any details whatsoever about the Motorola Droid Pro and that gives us no chance at the moment to compare the PRO with the best of RIM BlackBerry smartphones. The only thing we know is that the Motorola Droid PRO will come with Android 2.2 (Froyo) and Motorola custom BLUR Interface on board. Plus, there is global roaming support in more than 220 countries pre-set in the PRO
