Agora will comes in two version, the Agora will be sold at AU$299 and the Agora Pro will be sold at AU$399. Palm rolled out the new update for its WebOS platform. The Palm webOS 1.1 re-enables Palm media sync, so you will have seamless access to your music, photos and videos from the current version of iTunes (8.2.1). The new update also includes a few other goodies for everyone including support for emoticons in the messaging app, enhanced Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) support.

The e-book reading application from Amazon, Kindle, is now available on most big gadget brands but the Android users have still not been able to relish the app on their devices. The Nokia 2710 Navigation Edition, the company’s most affordable Nokia Maps loaded, GPS-enabled phone has been announced. The new phone is expected to be popular in the developed and developing world alike and has been developed with urban environments, small towns, as well as rural areas in mind. The Samsung B3310 is known as B3310 in the Europe. But in India, this phone is known as the Samsung Corby Mate. LG has announced the KC550, a new slider phone. At its heart is a five-megapixel camera, equipped with an autofocus lens protected by a sliding cover. The phone also boasts digital blur reduction, ISO 800 sensitivity and a built-in flash, though this uses LED lighting, rather than the more powerful xenon technology. The display is limited to QVGA resolution, but owners can play videos formatted for sizes up to 720×480, at a framerate of up to 30fps. No DivX support is present, unlike LG’s Viewty. Other highlights of the 550 include a motion sensor, which can be used to control compatible games.

Sony Ericsson announced the new T715 slider mobile phone that will be available in Galaxy Silver and Rouge Pink. The slider features a 2.2-inch 240×320 LCD screen and a 3.2 Megapixel camera with 3.2x digital zoom, geotagging and video recording.

What i don`t like: The Pearl Flip 8220 doesn’t offer 3G support or GPS. The SureType keyboard also takes some acclimation.

Nokia today announced a North American version of the N78, its relatively low-cost but full-feature smartphone. The candybar design comes to the US with 3G Internet support for AT&T’s HSPA data network and undercuts the price of Nokia’s own N82 and N95 by scaling back the camera: the N78 uses a 3.2-megapixel sensor and a single LED flash versus the 5-megapixel, Xenon-lit shooting of other Nseries phones. Wi-Fi is also built in, as is GPS with data assist that lets the phone find its position through either Nokia Maps or a third-party app such as Google Maps for Mobile. The smartphone uses a microSDHC card slot for storage of music, photos, and other content, and integrates an FM tuner for both live radio as well as beaming sound to a car or home stereo without needing an adapter or cable.
The N78 should be available today and sells for $560 as an unlocked phone that works both with AT&T’s full 3G service as well as calls and EDGE data on both AT&T and T-Mobile.

Verizon on Tuesday became the first American carrier to offer the Samsung Omnia. The Omnia will be priced at $249.99, after a $70 mail-in rebate and the signing of a 2-yr contract agreement. The carrier doesn’t provide full specifications for its version of the handset but confirms a very close similarity to the original version previously limited to Europe and Korea. While switching to CDMA and EVDO, the Verizon Omnia continues to carry a 3.2-inch, 400×240 touch display with haptic (vibration) feedback and a customized on-screen keyboard; a touchpad at the bottom lets users control normal d-pad functions without losing precision.
It also provides a five-megapixel camera with an LED flash, Wi-Fi and more advanced media playback than Microsoft offers with support for DivX and XviD video along with regular media formats. Storage isn’t mentioned, but in foreign versions usually combines at least 4GB of built-in storage with a microSDHC card slot.
