There is some bad news for you HTC Desire HD and Desire Z fanatics as both the smartphones have been delayed in the UK and the delay has been confirmed by a number of UK retailers including the big time retailer superetrader. The retailers confirm that the delay is beacuse of the “Google testing” or “Google Type Approval” which is a procedure every Android OS running phone has to go through.
Ideally, both these smartphones were scheduled to arrive in the first half of October, but with the Google approval pending, the arrival has now been probably pushed even beyond October, 2010. XDA-Developers members from throughout Europe (and even Israel) were able to confirm this issue with their retailers, confirming that it is a global phenomenon
